Proverbs 10:11, 18-19, 21 NLT:
11 The words of the godly are a life-giving fountain; the words of the wicked conceal violent intentions.
18 Hiding hatred makes you a liar; slandering others makes you a fool.19 Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut.
21 The words of the godly encourage many, but fools are destroyed by their lack of common sense.
Proverbs 11:9, 12 NLT:
9 With their words, the godless destroy their friends, but knowledge will rescue the righteous.
12 It is foolish to belittle one’s neighbor; a sensible person keeps quiet.
Proverbs 12:6, 13, 18 NLT:
6 The words of the wicked are like a murderous ambush, but the words of the godly save lives.
13 The wicked are trapped by their own words, but the godly escape such trouble.
18 Some people make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise bring healing.
Proverbs 13:3 NLT: Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything.
Proverbs 15:1-2, 4, 23 NLT:
1 A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare. 2 The tongue of the wise makes knowledge appealing, but the mouth of a fool belches out foolishness.
4 Gentle words are a tree of life; a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.
23 Everyone enjoys a fitting reply; it is wonderful to say the right thing at the right time!
Proverbs 16:24 NLT: Kind words are like honey—sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.
Proverbs 18:20-21 NLT: Wise words satisfy like a good meal; the right words bring satisfaction. those who love to talk will reap the consequences.
Proverbs 20:15 NLT: Wise words are more valuable than much gold and many rubies.
Proverbs 21:23 NLT:  Watch your tongue and keep your mouth shut, and you will stay out of trouble.
